Audio wiring diagram 2016 wakesetter 22 vlx

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the audio of a malibu wakesetter vlx 2016? I bought 2 pairs of tower speakers incl the wetsound dsp amp and I want to upgrade my tower with that. Do I need adapters for the wetsound dsp amp? I couldn’t find the special plug for the amp in my boat´s harness.

thanx in advance

Stef

The 2016 factory offerings were not using DSP amps then.  They were traditional Rockford amps with RCA style connections.   2017 was the start of Wetsounds DSP from the factory.

An actual wiring diagram may be tough to find but lots of folks here can help.   I am unsure how to integrate those DSP amps into the 2017 system, but in general your amps will connect to the black box in the passenger compartment.  It will be a rats nest behind the amp board from the factory once you get back there.

And sorry, I meant integrating into the 2016 system.

I wouldn't install a DSP amp in the older system myself.

Why not? I have the dsp amp already. I think the dsp is configured to the speakers.

The DSP is configured to the speakers for the newer model boat that it was programmed for, etc.

Having to go through all of the adapters, etc adds to the PITA factor. A regular amp would be a LOT easier IMO.

And most agree the canned DSP tune is too conservative.  Hence why so many rip those amps out and replace them on new boats.  .
