Hi Crew, I have a 2002 Sunsetter LXI which I bought new in Australia. It is well looked after and a treasured member of the family. After 17 years and 1000 hours i have blown a head gasket between pots 1 and 3 [rear drivers side] on my 310hp Carby Indmar engine. I am yet to remove the heads, but the compression test arrows towards head gasket, with no water in the oil and no water in the pots. All pots over 200PSI,  less cylinder 1 and 3 with 40psi.  This boat has been mainly used in salt water and thinking about changing the complete engine to an EFI. I would be interested if anybody has done that in the past and what challenges they had. I would like to keep the original gauges, but could see some issues getting the EFI to talk to the existing electrical. Thanks for reading all the way from down under [Aus].
