Just a heads up to anyone with a Gx tower looking to add speakers (if you didn't get them from the factory.) The Gx doesn't use the shelf adapter that the G3 has (thankfully!) but it turns out you do still need a Malibu specific adapter plate for each speaker. I ordered my boat without tower speakers so I need the adapters. It is possible (but not likely knowing Malibu) that the adapters were included with the boat (haven't taken deliver yet, so I will check next week when I get the boat.) I contacted Wetsounds and they were able to send me a few photos of the adapters:
