Sync volume on factory Wetsounds system

Recommended Posts

I can’t quite figure out what the sync volume button is doing on the 7” screen.  I assume it syncs up the various zones, but never could tell how it was working or what it synced to, not could I tell if it reverted back tot he previous setting after hitting it again.  What am I missing?

I think it syncs interior and tower to the main volume?

Correct. For example, when my kid is napping I turn the interior all the way down and then just play music through the tower speakers. Then when she wake up I’ll use that to bring the two back together. It doesn’t adjust the sub volume in that screen.

Thanks!  It would have been real slick if after syncing you could hit it again to return to previous settings.  Oh well

After reading early posts on the radio set up, I was afraid that I was going to miss the simplicity of my 420. After I get my knuckles to stop dragging across the screen, hopefully I will get it figured out.

The delay in the screen is still bad under the sliders.  But, if you toggle the left slider to interior, main, or towers, then the knob can change items quickly.  Also, I wish if they would program it where a long touch quickly moved volume vs having to repeatedly tap the screen.

I might have missed the conversation, but has anyone figured out how to allow the stereo to stay on when shutting off the boat on the newer touch screen models?

I have stereo delete but if you press the start button again it will shut the engine off and leave the dash on. That is how mine is wired. Lights are the same way.

I think that is on a timer though?

So, double tapping the START/OFF button twice when I go to shut it off leaves the stereo on?

Press and hold til the engine dies. This is how I will shut down between riders as well.no wait for the screen to come back.  Unless someone tells me it is bad.

Sorry I thought you meant the main power button. Yes pushing the start button will stop the engine and leave the dash on but I thought the question was how to play the stereo without the dash on?

Thanks, will have to try that this weekend weather permitting.

I accidentally used the power button yesterday vs. the start/stop to shut down engine and the screens went off but stereo kept playing.  I then held power button and the stereo went off too.  I'm not exactly sure how to do this as it was accidental, or if there is a correct/proper way, but I can confirm Sparky's results.
