Does a 04 VLX 21' sit lower than an 05-07 VLX 21'

Hi:

Does a Malibu Wakesetter 04 VLX 21 sit lower than an 05-07 VLX 21? As per my other post I need to find a boat that will fit in my garage with a 7' door and I need all the extra room I can get. I really would like a VLX but am open to other suggestions

My 04 VLX fits into my garage, i do have to take the tower down. My door is actually a little under 7foot.

Do you just have to take the tower down or do you have to take the top part of the tower off? My garage is 93"

yes,,,a 04 does sit lower than the newer ones. i get my 04 in a 7' door. mine has the titan tower on it. i tip the front wishbone forward to because i couple get it lower than sitting on the windshield.

Can you tell me the exact lenght of the 2004 with and without the swim platform?

if your garage is 93" high then you will have no problem putting pretty much any boat in there with the tower down, did you mean 83"? more than likely you are looking at 21'-6" plus say 5" for the wedge when down(conservative) if your garage is 23'2" then you wont have a problem as long as you have a swing away tongue.

It was a typo. I wish it was 93" but it is only 83"
