Ski locker to engine compartment water flow

Recommended Posts

LarsJensen

As of now, water in the hull between ski locker and engine compartment does now flow freely. There is a little plastic threaded plug separating the two compartments. Am I safe to assume that removing the plug will allow the bilge pump to pump out all the water between both areas? See pic.

Yep. If you get the bow up by going about 10 mph.  At rest the mid ships is lower than the bilge pump.

Yes, open that plug, but if it has the little tabs to keep you from removing it either rip it out or you have to put something in there to hold it open. When the water starts to flow, it will push the plug closed again.
