Bimini top has dandruff

My 2017 VLX 21 which sits on a covered lift with the Bimini top up looks like it has dandruff on the inside. Has anybody run into this problem and how did you treat? Thank you for your reply.

Pic?  Mine sits outside and gets what appears to be the same.  I just wash it off with a wet rag.

Are you sure it just isn't collecting pollen or some other sort of airborne seed/flower kinda thing?  Does your cover ever show any?

Not necessarily on my bimini, but I have noticed a very fine powder on the gel of my boat every time I pull my cover off.  It wipes off very easily but is just a pain to have to do

Is i a commercial sewing cover? We had one here that was doing that as well, Commercial replaced it. We did send plenty of pics.

I had the same on mine. Laid the cover out in the yard and scrubbed it down with water soap and vinegar. Lots of rinsing... It took a couple of hours but the “dust” is down by 90%.
