Velvet Drive Delayed Shift

Recommended Posts

broux2

I need help with my transmission. It shifts relly smooth into reverse but when shifting into forward there is a very large hesitation. I can slowly rev the engine but it revs very high before shifing into gear. Anyone have any idea on what this could be.

Thanks

You did check your fluid level, correct?

Sounds like your linkage needs to be adjusted. There's a certain process that usually requires a tech to do. I would have it looked at before you wreck the trans.

Sounds like the linkage needs to be adjusted or your throttle is worn. The adjustment is where the linkage cable attached to the throttle.
