Trailer License Plate Location

Recommended Posts

JoeFro

I bought my boat used and the trailer never had a license plate installed.  In Ohio, I have to have one on the this trailer.

I was just wondering where others have installed their license plate brackets.  Due to the configuration of the trailer it looks like I will have to drill some holes to install it and want to get it right.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe Fro

While my trailer does not have the license plate bracket, the lamp is still there to illuminate it.

Pretty sure it is supposed to be somewhere on the driver side fender or behind the wheel like OJ said.  That is where it was on my last boat, that is where it is on the Lund, and that is where it is on the Bu.  Same on my utility trailer.
