BALLAST BARS ON MALIVIEW 2013 VLX Wakesetter

Recommended Posts

Boob

The ballast bars on my maliview are not appearing and the tanks are not filling when I press the preset button on the maliview. When I go to the preset screen to adjust the ballast it automatically goes back to the cruise screen. In the owners manual 2-14 it states

Ballast bars will disappear when the sensor is not present. Has anyone have any idea where this sensor is and what I can do to fix it ? Its a 2013 VLX Wakesetter. I can fill the ballast using the Malibu Touch Command in the MLS screen. I have set the Maliview back to factory settings and still have the same problem.

Thanks Boob

The sensors are in the tops of the tanks. None of them working sounds like maybe a blown fuse

Thanks for your help Chuck. After searching front and rear for the right fuse I found the Earth wires had come loose and were not connecting to the Earth bolt on the rear of the motor. A new connector, bolted back up and all is good again.

Cheers
