Curious, is anyone here running either of these on  a later model Malibu? Thanks

I ran the 2247 in my 23lsv with the LSA engine.  1.25:1 drive ratio.  46.5mph, tons of hole shot.

It was great for that application, but that's an extinct combo now unfortunately.

I have a 15 LSV with the 350, looking for a prop that will pull the weight but also able to get in the max rpm range at wot. Wakemakers suggests the 2247 so I thought the 2249 with the .105 cup might be just right

I am currently running the 2315 and would like to do less prop

that's going backwards from where you are (like you are saying that right now you have more than enough power to push your weight and you want to go taller).  I have 2249 on my axis but with 1.72 tranny and it's basically the same effective gearing as 2315 on 1.5 tranny.

You're saying that with the 2315 you can reach max rpm fully weighted with wedge before wot. I don't see that happening

Not at all what I'm saying. I am looking to swap my prop so that I run a higher rpm when loaded. Attempting to more closely match wot with recommended max rpms

Shawn, I want to more accurately match my prop to my engine for longevity. I don't mind a little prop slip if it's better long term for mah boat.

If I understand you correctly, I think you are going the wrong direction from the 2315 if you want to increase RPM's under load.

The two props you have mentioned are higher in pitch than the 2315 which should decrease your RPMs.

I think you better look at the 2419, 2949 or 2951 if you want increase RPMs

2249 is going the wrong way... you need one of the 10.5 or 11 pitched prop, not a 14.25 pitched prop (2249)

Shawn is exactly right. I have the same boat as you except with the 409 running the 2419 at 900 feet and same ballast set up and I surf at 3600 rpm at 11.2 to 11.4. No way I could reach 5000 to 5600 rpm.
