Venting material

Usually most vents use the flexible tubing. Any reason why PVC couldn't be used for the inbound vents? How about using pvc for some of the heating duct work?

THanks

On both my boats the bow underside  has fiberglass molded intake housings designed for hose clamping the flex tubing onto it. The tubing also runs from the bow to the engine compartment and needs to share the "wire"  way with a bunch of other stuff. Stay flex I would advise.

I got rid of the crappy dryer vent hose stuff Malibu puts in and went with the flexible plastic corrugated down spout hose. I holds it shape regardless of the bend and won't crush like the other junk, I managed to find the correct 4" hose at the local garden place. I looked at Lowes and HD with no luck.

That sounds better than PVC and the dryer vent crap.
