Your opinion ? Rockford fosgate punch 8 inch waketower speaker

Hi guys , just need your opinion , i just bought a pair of 8 inch Rockford fosgate punch series Waketower speaker , i also have already 6.5 inch cans so i change the old Kenwood for the Rockford ( 6.5 inch) , what do you think about those speakers ? i had a deal on those two sets and maybe i will need to change my amp , i got a pionner gm-d9500f , i didnt instal it yet ( need more time in a week ) but before instal it i would prefer to have some info . thanks !

They sound good to me. A guy I know from the beach party at our lake had them last year. This year he went with JL's and I think the RF sound better,,,,, but he has been over pushing the JL's, and is prob running the same amp, so the JL's are under powered. They are not gonna keep up with Wet Sounds.

So will you be using the d9500f to push those 2 speakers only? If so that's about 200rms each, and the should sound great with some good power like that.

I have them too. They do sound good. A bit more bass than the 6.5's. I drive them with nautic 660 amps. One amp channel each.
