ZLD install issues, speakers beep when muted. Exile BT doesn't work

Installing my ZLD and everything seems good, but when I push the mute button on either the maliview or the sport knob, my tower speakers beep.  I unplug from the ZLD and they continue to beep, I unplug from the amp and the beep goes away. Anyone have any thoughts?  

Also is there a trick to getting the exile by to work?  Had it connected to my phone aux on the ZLD on and nothing coming out of the speakers.  I wonder if I may have a bad BT?

Get ahold of Bill or Brian at Exile.  They will help you work the problem out.  They helped me out quite a bit on my Exile install and then again earlier this year when I had a noise coming from my tower speakers that I couldn't track down.
