Tear in Vinyl

I noticed after this past weekend, that I have a small tear in the rear seat back, not sure how it happen, but need to get to it before it spreads.

What do I do to fix this tear, it did not go all the way through?

I was referred to a local guy by my dealer which came to my storage facility and repaired a 3/4" inch tear. You cannot see it at all. they fill it with some sort of resin and then re-dye everything to match. I cannot feel or see where it was. Total cost $50.

I was told to stay away from the do it yourself kits.
