Help design a purple metallic malibu

Recommended Posts

malibudog

There is a reasonable chance we will upgrade to a new 23 this year, and I am intrigued by the thought of using the Malibu purple metallic as a focal color. Three options below. If anyone has thoughts on these three or any other malibu purple inspiration, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Color is a personal thing, given those 3 choices I hope you plan to keep it for a really long time. Those might be really hard to resell.

Out of these three options I think number three is the best one for resale

Purple is only gonna look good with black, gray, and/or white, so my vote is #3 but I'd keep trying...jmo

# 3 looks great. Saw one last year with same purple stripe and the rest white. Looks great in person.

I like #1 the best, not sure what it is but the red/purple look good together there.

Gotta vote #3, sorry 1 and 2 are not eye catching in a good way.

#3 of those. The purple and red does not look good IMO.

Number 3 . Switch the purple to red you won't regret it especially on resale .

I've seen a purple and charcoal boat I thought looked great, but i'm colorblind so my opinion probably doesn't help.

I think as a general rule, 4 different colors on a boat makes it look too jumbled up.

Red and purple do not match, ask anybody's wife or mother.

Of your options thus far, the third is the best, but I think you can do better. The purple is dreamy when done correctly.

Of those three, I'd choose #1. I love purple and would buy a used one in a heartbeat. I'd make more of it purple.

Not sure if this is "anybody's wife or mother", but she seems ok with red and purple.

I like both #3 and the one in post #19. Post #19 is my favorite of all posted.

I would go with post 19. #1 is intriguing but not sure how it would sell down the road

I guess in certain circumstances it could be OK ;)
