Very cool! I am assuming you ran the lights off of an inverter?

Yeah, just a small one, a 400w that connects straight to the battery

In Phoenix (Tempe) they have a boat parade on Tempe town lake. One of the few times a year you can be in Tempe Town lake. They end the parade with fire works. This year roughly 45 boats were in the parade. Very fun event.

This was the surfer. ....

Nice! Are you in Newport Beach? I'm in San Clemente and typically come up for the boat parade every year.

I'm in yorba Linda, but do the long beach parade. I use to live in LB off 2nd street. Just kept it going in the same location. Do you put your boat in the parade or just watch?

Someone here is going to call you out for improper display of navigation lights.....and it will probably be a skier  You know theres always someone like that.....this surfer isn't wearing a vest, that tow vehicle isn't rated 2k above the boat/trailer/gear.

Joking aside, what a great tradition! I want to do that now. Nice job on the lights too.

You can kind of see it in this picture, just plastic wrap above the rub rail. Kind of the same as towing with a cover on. You don't see it from the water.

Here's my setup. We do the Newport Beach boat parade. It's a lot of fun, but it gets crazy out there. Hundreds of boats ranging from 18ft dingy to 120ft yachts.
