Need some new laces/locks

Recommended Posts

I need some new laces and locks for 2 sets of bindings. I need some opinions on replacements that will actually stay locked. The Ronix ones I have always seem to come loose when riding. Very aggravating, so looking for suggestions.

Try the ones that cwb/connelly use, they hook up so well on my ski bindings that they actually wind up cutting the laces over time.

I had the same exact issue with my ronix frank boots and ordered a new set of laces and they come with the new locks. Seem to hold a lot better. I think it was a problem throughout the boot line the last year or two.

Buy skate shoe laces and just tie them like normal shoes.

I've seen ronix laces fray to quickly. My original CWB set lasted 2 years. CWB sent me replacements, but they weren't the same as the originals. Went with some Liquid Force http://www.wakehouse.com/products/liquid-force-wakeboard-lace-replacement-kit.html . Not great, but not terrible either. I've noticed a little bit of loosening while riding, but nothing that changes performance. I generally re-tighten after the second fall and then forget about it.
