I thought this had been discussed before, but a search turned up no result. Anyone have any tips on how to gain access to the cleats on my boat while the boat is at a dock and the cover is on it? Can I have an upholstery shop make holes? Anyone have any pics? How much?

Thanks

Any cover should be able to get cleat doors put onto it. I think it's best to have a local shop take care of this for two reasons: 1. it shouldn't take more than a day, so your not without your cover for to long. 2. you can mark the locations of where your cleats line up on your cover when it's in the correct position( cleat locations vary from boat to boat). I'll try to get some pics for you. Make sure the shop you pick does canvas work, so that your getting the correct materials.
