oil pressure

Recommended Posts

I've misplaced my owner's manual and am curious as to what normal oil pressure ranges should be.

The gauge goes to 80 PSI on the 06 Vride (320 LCR) - yesterday when we were out I noticed that at around 25mph the psi was around 61-65. Is that on the high side or are we OK?

Thanks!

Wouldn't freak out or not use the boat...but I would call your dealer service manager and ask.

The information that I got at our dealer's annual clinic states:

"Average preassure ranges are between 6 PSI at 1000 RPM and 40 PSI at crusing speeds."

Keep using it and ask...LOW is BAD, high could be normal depending on lots of outside factors.

I just figure my gauge is busted.

I'll get a reading of 80+psi when the engine is warming up. And after it's warm I'll get 60-65+psi.

I've got the monsoon.
