It's great when you can hand off a something you have a passion for and know it will be in good hands. I was a little heart broken when the buyer of our last boat said it was salt bound.

Nothing wrong with salt as long as they maintain it

My gut instinct told me it was going downhill.

You guys are awesome, usually when I sell something I never want to hear from the buyer again!

My 1970 (original owner) boat is still going strong after 45 years in salt water.

Still think that year and model was one of the best looking boats on the water, I love my 2015 but the lines of my old boat and this one are timeless!!

I wasn't trying to de-rail this one Fman , sorry,

But a boat in salt is worth less than its exact counterpart in fresh. I was merely stating that it gave me a feeling that she would not be cared for in the same way. But to each his own, and when that mullet sporting tattooed motorcycle riding dude shows up on your front porch to pick up your daughter, remember there's nothing wrong with salt.

Daughters notwithstanding, I have seen freshwater boats that looked a lot worse than my salt water boat.
