Turning Left?

Recommended Posts

cdock100

I have a 2000 escape LSV. I have had the boat for 2 years. Since I have owned it, it has a hard time turning left a ideal plus speeds. It is not hard to turn the wheel, I replaced the cable last year, and it works great. It mainly becomes a problem around the marina. At higher speeds it will turn. Is this common? I was thinking the turning of the prop wants to push it...but i haven't noticed it in other in-boards I have driven.

Thanks! Cliff

Common at idle speed.

After replacing the steering cable did you verify equal rudder movement right to left?

Yes it looks like it is turning equally both ways.
