New Heater Core Blown Out?

My 97 Response with a heater had a leak. So I took it to a radiator shop and they so called fixed it.

First time out I blew the core again. I took it back to the radiator shop and the guy said the pressure blew it apart. A heater core should handle the pressure shouldn't it? Is there something I missed?

They are going to replace it free but I don't know if I rigged it wrong, it seemed simple enough.

Any one else had this problem?

Mabe you'd be better off replacing it rather than having it repaired. You can get a Brand New One for $83 plus shipping.

You can get just the radiator too.
