Ok,got the 19' 6" dd out for some surfing this weekend. Running 550lbs in place of rear seat and 550 next to motor port side. 2300 rpm is 10.5 mph. Wave is still a little crumbly. Had only 2 people in the boat, one driver and one person in port stern. Not quite enough push to go ropeless. No added weight up front, but seemed to have a long wave.

Thoughts?

I used to surf my Skier like that and could go ropeless. What are you using for a board? It got WAY better when I replaced the rear bag with a #750. Don't remember what I ran for speed but this vid was behind that boat.
