Trailer Transom Tiedowns

I have the Boat Buckles and love them. You don't have to fiddle with the length when attaching them, they're always right there. Quick on and off. I wondered if they would wear out... spent a little extra to get the stainless steel and haven't had a single problem after seven years of use.

I have both Boat Buckle and Re-Tractable tie downs on different trailers, I like the Boat Buckles better.

I've had them both too. The Boat Buckles work better, but I've had them break quite a few times. Usually I can bend something back &it'll work for a while again. But now I have the Fulton brand tie downs. Hoping they are tougher.

On my A24 build sheet the transom tie downs were not listed as an option but came on my trailer.

It's probably something that some dealers install as a curtesy for their customers when they buy a new boat.
