2 Year old "new" impeller

Recommended Posts

I have an impeller that has been sitting in the glove box of my boat for over 2 years now in the original packaging. Is it still ok to use or am I better off just buying a new one and keeping that one for backup?

Have one new, two years....just had it out of the package to check on the weekend,

still feels fine and pliable. It's my backup.

The only thing that worries me is what kind of heat that impeller may have been sitting in.

I'd def. check it for flexibility and maybe retire it to being a spare.
