Paging Ford Techs. V-10 misfire issue.

So my 2000 F250 SD V-10 got it plugs changed when I acquired it about 12 yrs. ago to Motorcraft platinum plugs. I've put about 20K on the truck and 5 of the plugs still have the original gap.

So, the other day I notice a skip when cold only. Got it to do it long enough to throw the check eng. light and had a misfire in #5 cyl. This is the passenger side, all the way in the back, under the windshield. Just my luck. So, I happen to have a spare new coil laying around from when I had another misfire that was a bad coil and I replaced a few.

I swapped the coil and moved the (crusty looking) plug to #1 cyl. The problem moved with it. So, I know I have a bad plug.

My problem is, while I was diagnosing the mis. I un-plugged some injectors and the tab in the connector housing snapped right off. I now have 3 zippy tied injector connectors which I know won't last. Is there an aftermarket or Ford part num. for just the injector connector housings? I think I can back out those weather proof pins.

Oooops,

I missed that.

I just clicked on the very first part on the top of the page.

I'll look at it more closely tomorrow.

Thanks Chuck.

Little late, but Napa typically has those in stock. Depending what your truck is, part number "218457" "EC264" about $15-20. Our local store has 6 and 8 in stock and is a small area store.

Thanks guys.

I ended up with one bad spark plug.

Just for the heck of it, I went ahead and bought a set of coils as spares here

Got replacement injector housings here.
