I just picked up a 2004 wakesetter lsv and after a couple times out we notice that the ballast tanks were not draining and is blowing breaker. I am new to the whole ballast thing and was just wondering how hard it would be for me to fixs this issue any thought or suggestions.

thanks Scot

For the rears, on the back side of the tank against the transom should be a pump. Unscrew the little blue tab, unscrew the locking collar and the motor and impeller should pull out. Check for debris in the housing and try to turn it on with out it popping a breaker. Chances are pretty good that impeller is just bound up from age and needs replaced.

Midship tank drain should be under the inspection door on the floor beside the driver seat. Same rules apply.

Now, lets get serious and tear those old tanks out of the rear and at least get some 750lb bags back there
