Elite Shield Trailer and Fender Coating

Curious about the stainless fenders. Is there any reason you can't step on them? This one, someone actually put NO STEP on top of their stainless fenders - if so making them completely useless to me.

One of the reasons I like my checker plate on the fenders, no problem to step on....

But at the same time I do prefer no one to step up on my fenders as I find they eventually

move as the bolt holes are slotted, no matter how tight the bolts are, we just always use the step pads

AS for SS as a whole, I think that would look great but at the same time I think you may get scratches on

them if you don't have some sort of step pads.

Bringing up an old thread...

Do the folks that have had elite shield still think its the way to go 3 years later? Does anyone have experience with the Malibu brand trailers and EliteShield?

I don't trailer a lot, but my trailer is stored outside so I am hoping this will ensure that it stays rust free for as long as possible.

Does anyone have any pics with a white EliteShield coating?

Curious to see pics too. My trailer only sits outside while I'm using the boat and it's got rust in some many areas it's annoying, and it's only 7 months old!  If I had known about this elite shield I probably would've opted for it.

Only have it on fenders, they are still fine after stepping all over them for years.  Only downside is that they always look dirty since the textured Surface holds dust, wax drips and is pretty impossible to just wipe clean with a wet rag.
