For those who have them, do you;

1. Have a cover for them,

2. Just let them collect bugs and clean it when you get home/lake

3. #2, but take the mirror off

4. or ???

I remove mine prior to towing.

The Rod R mirror arm does not lend itself to a quick removal and install. If trailering for any distance, I loosen the mirror and rotate 90 degrees.

True. I had that one on my last boat & when we had to travel any distance, I would take the mirror off (I had the Cipa Extreme mounted with an adapter, so it was easy removal).

I've got Rod R's with the CIPA. I always remove my mirror. Easy on and off. I've never removed the arm.
