how do I copy a document from word to a thread I`m trying to start? I have never had this problem before..

No such luck funny thing is I can copy it to the title bar just not the body area.

OK, no one in their right mind should brag about being associated even loosely with Cloud Atlas. Fair enough. But beyond that, you have to feel gobsmacked after digesting Netflix’s list of shows. Whatever Amazon.com (AMZN) and Hulu are working on can’t match this in quantity or quality of talent. (Netflix has transported Coach Taylor to the Florida Keys. Think about it.)

If you're going to paste in from Word, I suggest that you turn off rich text prior to the paste. You can do that with the little switch in the upper left corner of the editor. Word formatting can show up a little weird in the forum, so if you do it this way it will strip it all out & paste in raw text.
