I had a 4 day weekend the weekend before last, which lead into my week vacation at the beach, followed by boating this past weekend. Needless to say this Monday coming back to reality was like a swift kick in the pills.

I'd like to say I am glad I am not on skiing today. Too sore from skiing by brains out this weekend, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Actually I am quite jealous I bet today would be a beautiful day to be spending on the water. Even if I am too sore to walk up stairs, I could still enjoy myself on the boat .

Lucky for me, I didn't have to work today but I did HAVE to go to Pismo Beach for a couple days to pick up my kids that have been at their grandma and grandpas for the last two weeks. It will be a short trip so I can get back home to spend the last 3 days of my 5 day, mid week, mini vacation at the lake. Not to mention I left Sacramento which was 108ish today and high here in Pismo was 77.

Nope. Can't do s**t though. L5 S1 problem has me on the bench and it looks that way for a while yet. Have had to pass on the best snow in years and just hoping to be right for September when the real fun begins..
