09 VLX Surf Setup

Tigdog

I have an 09vlx, we fill all ballast except the opposite side rear tank. We have 540 sacs on top of our factory in the rear. If we only have a few people we fill 350 into a sac in the nose on top of our stock but if we have enough people we send one or two of them up there. The nose weight gives you the long wake. Drop the wedge all the way down for a long wake, up two to three clicks to make the wake steeper. MPH about 10.4.

Did it work Tigdog? I also have a 2009 VLX I bought at the end of summer and wasn't able to go ropeless in the 5 or 6 times I was able to try. I have the factory MLS and then piggybacked bags on top of the MLS. That being said, I only tried the factory setup and didnt try the weight like Brettski mentioned. I need to wait 4.5 months to get back on the water....
