Trailer repair Sacramento area

Recommended Posts

Need some recommendations for a good, reputable shop. We are about 45 min south of Sac (Walnut Grove). Willing to travel a bit to use a good shop.

Need some welding (Frame cross member cracked and bunk support broken)

Replace bunks and carpeting.

Thanks for your help,

Mike

Any welding shop should be able to fix your frame or bracket cracks. Doesn't have to be a trailer repair facility. As for bunks.....if you can use a saw and a drill you can replace these yourself and save the labor cost. Just use a good grade pressure treated 2 x 6 timbers. Outdoor or marine grade carpet and stainless staples to cover. It you don't have a stapler and don't care to purchase on you can use galvanized roofing tacks to secure the carpet.
