Personally like that green a lot. Not a big fan of the green above your post but that's aa nice looking boat. Great contrast.

Thx, the green looks less "bright" in person, I've never had a black boat so worried about the maintenance somewhat.

Biggest myth in boat maintenance...black boats are not hard to keep clean. Actually they are the same as a white hull. Black will show how diligent you are at cleaning where white covers up how lazy a boat owner can be until a point even the white looks oxidized or dull. If you wipe down daily it's no different. They should do a video with clown after clown popping up in the boat and jumping over board. That would go viral.

There was a reason for it. And because of that reason I don't think the owner was sweating resale too much...

He was matching the rest of his garage. Orange Range Rover, green Lambo, yellow Ferrari, blue Porsche GT3, etc. Had a great time with it from what I could tell.

Boat is already viral. Every power boat site on the net has talked about it, most of them multiple times.

I guess I'm always the last to know lol. Crayola would look better than Mastercraft on the side.

So...black is not harder to keep clean, you just have to work harder to keep it clean. Got it.

They sure show water spots like nothing you will ever see on a white boat.

Well, i dont see wiping down any color boat after each day as "work". Maybe you do.

Then don't you wipe off water spots at the end of the day or do you just let them bake layer after layer after each day's use until you have to cut/polish?

They get wiped off when I spray wax the boat after each outing, but the boat looks water spotted 10 seconds after you put it in the water wherever the sun is drying it.

Guess the lake I use doesn't show as much minerals or dirt in the water on the water spots. Never had a real issue with my black boat, just faint water spots during the day. However, I only have 2-4 people on my boat so not much extra water getting splashed around or brought into the boat.

There is a MASSIVE variance in water quality.... and how it relates to water spots.

If you don't live at a lake with mineralized water that immediately etches white/gray spots within seconds on a hot day.... you just dont understand. Milk white spray over everything from gel, to the windshield glass to the tower. And they wont wipe off without wax or a dedicated spot remover in heavy quantities.
