What is the purpose of moving the batteries to the front compartment other than having slightly more space for the bag to fill + accessibility to the battery when bags are full?

You just answered your own question my friend. I had 400s in the back before I moved the batteries and even those bags were pinched and putting pressure on the battery boxes and engine divider. No other advantage that I can think of.

Update:

Instead of running the hose for the 5th sac through the hole I drilled in the walkway (see a few posts above), I bought a 1" quick connect (http://www.wakemakers.com/launch-pad-1-inch-npt-flow-rite-fitting.html) that I can screw into the hole (where a female insert resides), so I can put the extra sac anywhere when needed but still have everything be totally hidden when not in use. And it only took me a dozen times tripping over the exposed 4" of hose to figure it out!

Question:

I'm considering testing out venting the rear sacs by just venting one of them for now and wyeing the line to the existing bilge pump drain before I drill any more holes. Any problems with this? If I vent the starboard side (the side the bilge drain is on), will that sac auto-drain when I'm surfing goofy? I'd rather not cross vent.
