From the specs page it looks like the only difference would be the built in ballast tanks in the Wakesetter version or teh wedge option. I had an 02 wakesetter 23xti for the last 7 years, it was a great boat, it had a small bump for slalom at 30-32 with only one other passanger and when its full of people and ballast the wake would get pretty big for wakeboarding. I think its a great crossover boat that can still hold 9 people comfortably.

ALL 23' boats built before 2004 were on that older V25 diamond hull. Those 2 boats will not be any different where it really matters.

Both boats have the same hull, the wakesetter will have a factory titan tower, MLS ballast and wedge. I have a 2002 XTi - we have had it for 4 seasons and love it.
