Anyone have pics of the Axis T22?

It's going to be low to high 50s depending on options

You could definitely spend more but that does sound about right for a moderately equipped T22. We're working thru final pricing with my dealer, hope to place the order within the next couple weeks.

right, wetsounds sound pack and motor upgrades will put it quite a bit higher I'm sure.

Wow. I missed this whole thread.

This thing is freaking amazing. I can't stand the tower. And I don't like the windshield, but for the added bonuses (PnP, snap out carpeting, flip up seat) I think I could handle it. Does anybody know if you can order these without the towers and get another model installed? If so, and if the price point is truly what people are saying it is, I am SO test driving one.

85........ Ever think you'd hear me say that!?

Doesn't mean you cna't get it without a tower...virtually everything can be deleted, and you'll prolly even get credit (you would on a G3 delete on a wakesetter for example)

Agreed. I financed at 20 years for a number of reasons. First was l because the rate was lower at 20 than it was at 15 or even 10. Banks will make more money at a lower rate over a longer term but there are many factors to think about. It's simple interest with no pre payment penalty so I can pay it off at any time should the want or need arise. I try to make double if not triple the monthly payment but I am locked at below a 250 minimum. I doubt I will keep the boat for more than 5 years. Another is that my investments are making far more than the interest I am paying. Heck, it was hard for me to justify putting down what I did because of that alone. I think it is important to be in an equity position but to say that it's foolish or not affordable with a long term option is an incorrect statement IMO. I couldn't afford to pay cash for the one I bought but I darn sure can afford to buy it.

Edit becasue I should retract all I said because I see that I fit at least two of NB's 3 bullet points. I think I missed his first post about not being able to afford. Glad were back on track. But on topic, I will take a 20 year loan to be able to make a malibu more affordable over an Axis.

One question on this, are you keeping up with the depreciation of the boat making the min or even paying more every month? If you sell in 5 years will the boat be worth what your payoff is requiring? Or will you be coming out of pocket to sell the boat?

FMAN beating the dead horse......I'm going to die with zero dollars in the bank. That's my goal, and everyday I hit my target.

T22 tower and interior are both Fugly. Malibu is known for fit and finish interior detail. Nothing in the "Value Brand" comes close. The vinyl looks like something someone would do themselves in their garage to refresh and old boat. Doesn't look professional at all. Just my opinion.

Haha! Our goal is to be retired at 55, and be debt free with a very comfortable living. So far, we are on target... That is what happens when you hire a financial advisor at 23 years old, they tend to make you think about the future too much and live within your means. Kind of takes some of the fun out of it, but seriously, he has been a blessing for us and our family... Best decision I ever made was letting a professional handle our money.

I agree. Although I'm biased! I'm a CFP.
