I know this may be a stomach turning post, but talking about it and posting pictures of the damage you had in 2013 will help. It's therapeutic!

These pics are of the bottom damage when we hit a sand bar wake surfing.

This is a pic of before and after gel coat damage. I broke a mooring line and the boat was rubbing against the mooring post.

I did cry. The gel coat damage happened 2 weeks after the sand bar incident.

Don't feel bad I just got my boat back from the shop after $4700 worth of repairs. Hit something GOOD in the river....Bent driveshaft, bent strut, bent rudder, bent rudder shaft, bent prop, major stress cracks around the strut and rudder shaft under the boat. I feel your pain hopefully 2014 season will be kind to both of us.

Ouch!

Taco'd a prop pretty badly on my brother's Epic in August. That was it for 2013 so far.

Sorry to hear, the dock rash thing sucks as it happens when you aren't even around.

I got a really bad hang nail on my big toe around July, no pics, but it sucked.

I wonder if I increase my chances of damage just by reviewing this thread.

Hit a log during Memorial Day weekend - bye bye tracking fin:

photomay26172023.jpg

Had to pull the tank and removed the other fin to repair the damage. Re-installed the back fin, for the front I replaced it with a lag-bolt style from the direct drive version of this hull. Glad I did as I hit another log in August and ripped the front one out - again.

No damage but we only went through one tank of gas this summer. I don't know which is worse.

I think a little wax and elbow grease could work that out. :)

Reservoir. I live 3 minutes from the boat ramp so we are there a lot.

Yes. It gets bad sometimes, especially after a bad storm. It was worse than normal this year with a couple idle only weekends.
