Gelcoat Crack

Recommended Posts

So I was waxing my (new to me) 2005 RLXI this weekend and noticed a gelcoat crack that runs from the left bracket for the ski platform to the left and up about 10" on the left side of the boat. This crack is very hard to notice. Should I be concerned? How concerned should I be? I am sure Malibu will fix it, but is there a good chance of this comming back? I have owned Fish and Ski boats in the past with big outboards that developed stress fractures and even if they were "fixed" they would come back. Thanks!
