REV10 Swivel Clamps

I've summed them up to just not being designed for my tower. Anybody interested in trading me my swivel clamps for fixed clamps??? The speakers swing constantly and are tearing up my wires!

The rubber inserts are there. Wearing away quick up top, but there. I'll check out which model though. Thanks guys.

Another thought is the bolt length. The clamp kits come with 3 lengths for the clam shells. If the installer used the middle length, they may bottomed before compressing the rubber inserts.

I really contemplated not getting them. Since installing I've yet to turn them however they have not moved a bit. I agree with the others that you must make sure the v thing with the bolt is fully pushed in and make sure the bolt is backed out a bit before you start to assure maximum bolt length into the slot. I also got allens that fit on a socket wrench so I can really tighten them.

I'd have to say you need to do the crew a favor and tell everyone who did your install. After the last thread about the REV's and proper amplification and now speakers that are not mounted right?

Do the crew a favor so nobody else goes to this guy.

I will say don't go to Freeman Stereo but I'm not gonna say the exact location because even with my issues with unknowledgable staff. Everything can be fixed fairly easy. And NO ONE even got close to the pricing!!! Fully factory warrantied top end parts! Like Rev10's with swivels for $850 or each JL 12w6v3 $375! I'd love to see someone else quote that. To the "well off" owners in this group, extremely knowledgable installer is worth a couple extra THOUSAND dollars! But that's what I have you guys for!

Yes, they did.

Oh yeah they were! Not anymore though, speakers are down and inside. Waiting for proper mounts. Hell, they werent even playing when I was there, just the cabins.

Yeah, my kind of dealer!

BTW! That's the kind of salesman I am too! If anyone in the Charlotte area needs the hook up on brand new appliances I can do great deals.
