I had a 2010 Ride that I would run a 750 in the locker, 900 on the seats and 400 in the nose. I set the wedge at maximum and the wave was huge and long.

I did it that way when there was only a few people in the boat. If i were to do it again I would just plumb another 750 to run under the seats and fill to max capacity. That set up might make the wave somewhat smaller but I'm guessing it would still be just as long. Good luck and have fun.

Hey thanks! Did you fill the ballast tanks at all? or just sacks/lead? I wish my RIDE had a gauge on how full ballast tanks were...

Welcome!

My friend (-BS-) has the same hull and makes an awesome surf wake.

roughly 400 lbs in front surf side

two 300-350 tube sacks under surf side seat.

one 450 in the back locker

all ballast full (even non surf side)

no wedge

450 on floor surf side filled according to number of people. Only 3 people we stuff that one full.

I think I commented in another thread....your boat man

Another guy here with an all white v-ride.

Do you guys recommend piggy back systems or or bags with separate pumps

How exactly does the non piggy back system work? Do you just drop a tube over board pump one full then disconnect and hook up to the next, Then kinda the same in reverse to get it all out?
