Stereo won't shut off

I just installed a new ballast system last week. I was washing it today and all of a sudden the stereo turns on. I get inside to investigate. The stereo switch is off. The batterries are all off at the Perko. I've never had any issues with the stereo before. I wouldn't think that adding the connection for the pumps to the battery would have anything to do with this. I thought maybe it was the switch to the stereo but why would it still be on after the batteries were off. Any ideas what could be going on? Thanks

Sorry. I have a switch hidden under the dash. Its just a basic on/off switch that has 'sas' on it. I was never really sure of its purpose, until now. It controls the stereo switch. When it is off the stereo is always getting power.

Well....threw out my theory. Same thing happened to me once. Had my boat moored at an outside dock and got caught in some overnight rain. I came down to the dock in the morning to hear my stereo blaring in the marina. I'm thinking wtf, someone is playing a prank on me turning my stereo on. Went to hit the switch and it was already off. Turns out water got in the switch, completing the circuit.
