9 pin iPod adapter

Does anyone know the actual part number to get a cable to hook up my iPhone? I bought the iPO5DC9 that was suggested to me , and even though its 9 pins it doesn't have the same pattern for the female end on the boat. Frustrating! Any ideas?

How about a 9 pin adapter to the new iphone 5 connector? Anyone find one of these on the market somewhere? I could always go USB but it would be nice to use the 9 pin connector for something

Hi MichLivin,

As the new Lightning plug only outputs digital audio, you will need an apple adapter (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD824ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter-02-m?fnode=45) to convert from lightning to their old 30-pin that will plug into our stereos.

I have read elsewhere... Don't buy a cheap knockoff, as it likely will not have the analog audio output that you need.

Cheers,

Don
