Create Gallery

I would like to add some pictures to a gallery on my profile. I wasn't able to do so, so I tried to create a new album. It said I could not create any more albums. So I deleted my current album hoping I could add them all at once to a new one. Still no luck.

Any help?

I think you have to add them to the boat house now.

Yes, you need to use the Boat House. In fact, if you could move all of your images over to that, I'd be very appreciative.

Ya I'm on boathouse now, I kind of feel like boathouse is for the boat, where do I post wake pics? I have random shots of surf/ski/foot/wakeboard wakes and from time to time people ask in forums and it's usually inconvenient to upload them, if I had them already on the site it would be easy to share. Or was the boathouse solution to keep the number of pics down to keep the server size down.

Definitely a fair comment, & something that we agonized over when moving to the Boathouse. In the end though, we found that by & large, the vast majority of people use images on this site for their boats. So we implemented a system that best shows that off. Keeping the gallery in place for the members doesn't make a lot of sense, not just from a resources standpoint (there are still a lot of duplicates between the 2), but from a logistical, organizational standpoint. If you've got 2 places to store photos, it's kind of like, "where did I put that again?" And so in the end, we felt that it was best to just use 1 system for the members, and that this would work well for most. For the ones (like you) that have photos that fall outside of that, what I'd say is just put them in there as boat photos. I am trying to get the developer to give us a third "category" for images (something other than "boat" or "modification"), & I think that if we get that it could fill that gap a bit.

Our vision for the Gallery is to have it be a home for Crew Event photo galleries as well as yearly Malibu Lineup images. Not sure if you've noticed, but we've added quite a lot recently & IMO it's looking pretty good.
