Adding a subwoofer

I Have a 2009 23 sunscape with the 6 rockford speakers and amp. I would like to add a subwoofer but would like to keep it under 250 dollars. Is this even possible including sub, amp ad wiring? i can do the install myself did it on my truck but am not familiar with marine products. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe. I got a P2 and a 400.2 for my car and sub was $100. Amp is probably $150 so there is $250 right there.

Possible? Yes.

Don't forget the box. It could end up to be your biggest expense. Loading an inexpensive prefab mdf box into a boat without waterproofing it first will most likely lead to replacing it in a few year's time.
