Just picked up a 03' 25 LSV and the teak swimdeck is weak in the middle. I was hoping to get some suggestions on fixing or replacing the swimdeck. Were would I find a proper fitting fiberglass replacement.. Ideas?

Dealers can order a fiberglass one that will fit, very expensive. You can get a new teak one from Teakworld alot cheaper.

Yes It would, but I was checking on this 2 years ago and I think it will be more than $1000 and it will be using your existing brackets. I got a new teak one two yrs ago and I love it no movement.

Real teak wood in my area is around 30$ a foot, $1000 in wood alone for the platform. The hardwood guy recommended that I try iron wood or mahogany. I ended sanding and oiling the original platform.

Ya, I looked for teak to fix a couple of boards on my platform and just the materials were going to be $200. Then I found Teakworld, they are the ones that originally made these platforms for the ski boat manufurers, I told them what boat I had and they knew exactly what platform I needed, quoted me $400 plus $30 shipping, well worth the money..

So $420 and you get a whole new swimdeck? I would do that is an instant. I did put in my info on their site for a quote today. So we will see.

Thanks

That was two years ago, and your boat is a little bigger, don't know it the platform is bigger? I would call them also.
