I have the mount above but without the switch hole . I have a led mount in it for my charger or what ever and in the bottom right a hole for the bass control knob for the sub. I went all exile so this is a left over piece. $50 shipped

Do you think 10ft rca's would be long enought o get me from the right side of driver helm over to port side console where amps are normally located? (going through floor, across and up)

Dave,

It's not the distance straight across the beam. Those RCAs will take a few additional detours up, down and laterally. 17 ft. RCAs is a safe choice and 20 ft. if the HU is in the coaming at your elbow.

Yes, get longer than you think that you need on the RCA's You can always bundle, zip tie and hide....much better than having one too short or that you would have to connect to another.

I have been running these for years and really like them. Not to expensive and pretty durable (don't have a tug of war with them ;)

I was able to cross over the mid ballast tank, I used super cheap cables and haven't had any problems yet. If cost of rca's or a cleaner look/install are your focus then I would see if a fish tape can get you from one side to the other.

Would anyone know if a SONY Model # CDX-H910UI fits in the arm rest area on a '06 VLX??

Thanks

if it's a single din unit then I would think so.

I did a search but must not have typed the right thing. How does one get wiring from the driver to the passenger side or vice versa? Do you take it under the floor? Is it difficult or complicated? Any pics or tutorials on how to do so?

You should have a bus fuse on the inner wall of your passenger side compartment. It has a big red wire that then goes underneath the floor through a hole and comes up behind the subwoofer. You will want to take a similar path. I drilled new holes a few inches away to run the stereo RCA's and the wiring from the stereos. It helps to have something stiff you pass under the floor, like a fish tape.

Your other option is to run it around the bow, but the leads will be very long. You would be talking 20 foot RCA cables for that, whereas mine are 10, IIRC.
