volume control on new JBL head unit not working

But I can control the volume on the main display.

Any Ideas? The unit has no operators manual, and I cannot find it online (JBL's website may be the worst electronics website online)

I have a copy of the manual for ya...give me your email address and I will send. or talk to these folks. Soory don't have a number, but they are the distributor for JBL

I had a lightning strike, and replaced everything (expensive)

It works only on the main display screen, which is odd...

do you have a transom remote?

often they get water in them an go bad... and when they do, crazy things like this happen throughout the rest of the system.

unplug the transom remote and see if those issues go away.
