havent been behind vtx specifically but have been behind wake and diamond hulled 21s. Its actually pretty nice. Original Vdrive was a barefoot nautique so that should say something. Rear bias shapes nice curls and turbulence is fine.

The wake behind our 02 VLX (s23 hull) isn't to bad for footing. Slalom is a bit rough but the wake flattens out a bit near 40 mph.

I think the boat with the worst table that I've foot behind was a 2012 Air Nautique (V-Drive). With or without the wake gate, it was rough. Big hole in the middle that was hard not to trip over.

What nautique in the last 10 years is even tolerable for barefooting? Even a 196 is terrible. I'd take vdrive bu any day over 196
